Today is December 30th 2016. DECEMBER 30TH 2016!!  We can’t believe how quickly the year has flown by, and already we’re preparing to welcome 2017. Many of our clients are setting new goals for their companies, and AIS is no exception. The last 365 days have been a whirlwind, and we’re looking forward to 2017 being even better. A new year brings new opportunity for change, growth, and building relationships, but before we get ready to move forward, we want to take a look back.

Most important for any company to be successful is to have a great team. At AIS our team isn’t just made up of employees; we’re truly a family, and we were fortunate enough in 2016 to welcome three new members to our family. Tina Murdock joined our team earlier this year to become our new designer, and Dianne Beaugard joined soon after as head of accounting. Recently, we’ve also welcomed Deon Fender to our sales team. Tina, Dianne, and Deon have been great additions to our office, and we’re excited to go into 2017 with them. We’ve also added to our production and service team, and plan to add a few more to production and service in the near future. Our guys work incredibly hard year round, in the hottest weather, as well as, the coldest; and we couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication to the company, and their determination to complete every job with the utmost quality.

2016 also blessed us with new clients and great opportunities. If you’ve ever been to Wilmington you’ve probably been by Roberts’ Arena. This year, Roberts’ Arena made the decision to expand, and expand they did. The World Equestrian Center was built, and the community watched as the world’s largest horse arena was constructed. AIS was given the opportunity to fabricate and install the signage, and the completion is quite a sight to see. Not only did we manufacture and install  signage for the exterior and interior of the WEC arena, but we provided a new monument sign, signage for the WEC General Store, the Home Away From Home trailer area, and the Equivet lettering.

Toward the end of this year we were also given the opportunity to work with DDR on rebranding their Kenwood Center property. Kenwood Center has existing signage, but it was in desperate need of updating. AIS surveyed the site, and worked closely with the township and the county to stay within their regulations and secure permits. Our designer provided a rebrand that DDR was extremely pleased with, and our production team got to work on manufacturing and installing the new signage. We not only provided new door and window for the Center’s interior, but we worked with the existing structure of all the monument and pylon signs, giving them a sleeker, more modern look. Our sales team also worked directly with all mall tenants and their respective corporations to secure the logo and branding for every store so that they would be represented correctly on all signs.

Overall, we’ve had a great year. We’ve learned new things, and we’ve surpassed our goals for growth. We’re excited to ring in 2017, and we look forward to being the image solutions specialist you’ve been looking for, whatever your signage and branding needs may be. We hope all of our friends, family, and clients have a safe and happy new year, and we wish you only the best in 2017.
